This privacy policy explains what information is collected and how it is handled when you use Daily Market Briefing (package names: com.marketbriefing.us and com.marketbriefing.kr, the "app").
The app works without any account or sign-up, and the developer does not directly collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name or email address. To serve ads, the following information may be collected automatically by the advertising service provider:

You can reset your advertising ID or limit personalized ads in your device settings.
The app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver new-briefing alerts and market index or news notifications. This relies on an anonymous push token issued by FCM, which is not a device ID or account identifier. You can turn each notification type on or off in the app settings, and declining the notification permission does not affect any other feature of the app.
Briefing and news content, including audio, is downloaded from the developer's server. Information essential to that communication (IP address, request time, app package name) may appear in server access logs and is used only for service operation and error diagnosis.
Only when you submit the "Send feedback" form in the app settings, the following is sent to the developer's server. Nothing is sent unless you submit it:
Submitted feedback is used only to respond to inquiries and fix problems. It is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
In-app settings (theme, text size, notification preferences, etc.) are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. Feedback you submitted is kept only for handling the inquiry and is deleted afterwards or upon request.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The briefings and summaries provided by the app are for general market information only and are not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Investment decisions and their outcomes are your own responsibility.
